A: Kombucha is a healthy, fermented, tangy and naturally effervescent tea. You make kombucha by fermenting sweet tea with a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast). After a couple of weeks, the tea becomes kombucha–which is a product of the living probiotics, enzymes, and yeasts.

A: SCOBY is an acronym for Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast. This living culture (which looks a bit like a slimy pancake) consumes sugar and caffeine during fermentation.

A: Chill Kombucha was created with the mission to share traceable and consciously made foods and beverages to our communities. We make a conscious effort at every step of the production process to create worry-free kombucha. From the water source for brewing and ingredient preparation, to triple washing our ingredients with natural detergents and brewing our kombucha in 100% glass jars in a licensed production facility for brewing kombucha—we do the hard work so you can CHILL.

A: Both raw and unpasteurized and pasteurized kombucha are great.

However, raw and unpasteurized kombucha is the most authentic form of kombucha that contains the living cultures restore and balance your gut. Some commercial brewers pasteurize kombucha to stabilize the kombucha for longer shelf-life and to control the harmful cultures that can proliferate in a living product.

Thus, its very important to drink kombucha from trustable source.

Chill Kombucha brews raw and unpasteurized kombucha. We believe the real benefits of drinking Kombucha tea can only be found in the raw, unpasteurized bottle.

Once pasteurized, all the good bacteria are destroyed and have very few health benefits.

A: Raw fermented Kombucha naturally yields living probiotics, electrolytes, acetic acids, and active enzymes. Kombucha is known to support gut health & aid digestion, promote overall wellbeing, provide immune support, and improve vitality.

A: Simply put, we use real ingredients and no preservatives, emulsifiers, or homogenization processes which means that settling may occur. Feel free to gently rock the bottle back and forth, or with a gentle roll of the wrist, to disperse the sediment. Please do not shake hard.


A: Our Kombucha is formulated by doctors who took a scientific approach to the brewing process to make a delicious and yet a potent health beverage. We make our Kombucha in small batches and only use: organic tea leaves, scobies, sugar, ginger and other natural cold press fruit juice.


  • We are a licensed facility to brew kombucha in Vietnam – there are many “home kitchen” unlicensed brewers. Kombucha brewing involves bacteria and yeast cultures and requires controlled and aseptic processes to ensure quality. Thus, its important for the facility to follow the strict licensure rules for beverage production.
  • All natural – no additives or artificial flavoring – we brew 100% authentic raw and unfiltered and unpasteurized kombucha. We do not use syrups or fruit concentrates. We use cold-pressed fruits and other natural ingredients for flavoring. Additionally, the light bubbles in our kombucha are all natural. We do not use force carbonation for the effervescent effect.
  • Use only commercial grade purified water for brewing – we believe quality water makes quality kombucha.
  • We triple washed all of our ingredients with natural calcium oxide and purified water – most restaurants and food production facilities don’t triple wash their fruits and vegetables—therefore the pesticides and chemicals are not washed properly off and consumed by the consumer.
  • Fermented in small batches using 100% glass jars – we brew artisanal micro-batches of kombucha. Every batch is special and a little different. We have mastered the art of “hand-craft” quality in a commercial grade facility.


A: Chill Kombucha is raw and live probiotic packed beverage. The kombucha needs to be refrigerated.  After it has been delivered, we recommend letting it chill inside the refrigerator for an hour and serve cold.

A: Since everyone’s body is different, we recommend slowly introducing Kombucha into your regular diet. We recommend starting slow. Begin with about 4 ounces, then gradually increase your intake to 16 ounces or more per day. It’s best to listen to your body determine how much is right for you.

A: We have heard from many mothers who continue to drink Kombucha during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. However, if you are unsure of introducing something new to your system during this time, we recommend consulting with your healthcare professional due to the delicate nature of pregnancy and breastfeeding.

You can cancel anytime after your first purchase period has completed. We will always contact you a week before, to ask you whether you would like to continue or not.

A: You can receive your total monthly bottles either in full with 1 delivery or it can be divided over 2 deliveries. We have designated days for the different districts but we can work with you to pool your order with the other deliveries. Please let us know at least 24 hours prior to your desired time/day of delivery.
